Communications Coordinator Rhode Island/Hybrid Position

The Communications Coordinator will work with project teams to support our inhouse contact relationship management (CRM) and contact management systems along with providing support to our communications team by managing our social media channels, and newsletter creation and distribution.

The ideal candidate will have CRM experience, including data entry, contact management, and report pulling. They will also have social media and basic website experience. They will be able to work collaboratively on multiple teams, managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting CRM data entry and data management
  • Preparing social media content as directed
  • Monitoring, posting to, and analyzing web utilization - including organization web sites and social media channels
  • Preparing and distributing online mailings/news briefs/newsletters, as directed
  • Preparing and distributing project related reports, as directed
  • Supporting and documenting client outreach
  • Supporting internal program teams

Successful candidates will have a proven track record that includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, health communications, or a related field
  • 1-3 years communications experience
  • Practical knowledge of health communications preferred
  • CRM data entry and contact management experience preferred
  • Practical knowledge of and experience with popular social media platforms
  • Practical knowledge in:
    • WordPress
    • Microsoft Office
    • Constant Contact
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills
  • Proven track record in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve results
  • Strong focus on customer service and the ability to clearly manage and communicate with project teams
